Aw Andrew I can't make any promises there. 250 is in my near future. :)

I think the key is not waiting around for the total and dl wods to come up. Do it more often and the # will go up. I'll DL with you anytime.

My first Fight Gone Bad
255 RX'ed.

It's not actually that hard when you have Tosh, the giant former Marine yelling at you to 'stop feeling sorry for yourself!!' when you've paused to rest during sets.

great first day

Posted by: Shane at February 17, 2008 1:31 AM

Lucky you. I bet he is.

That man makes me a little weak in the knees.

Tell him I said HI and I'll be thinking about him the next time I'm running on the beach.

Have a great time out there Shane.

Jack. Thx. For. The. Idea to sub the pull up on the bench for fran I also used two fifteen lb dumbells I know should hsve used twenty but it still wa
s tiring so yhx for helping me out. Got lots of stares from men using the purple dumbells for their biceps and doing situps with. Five lb med balls so I really enjoyed practicing the clean and split jerks then five reps of five back squatats at one fifteen all while in my black box shirt. Naturally sparked some queastions was abunch of dads from great neck who dared each other to come to try it isaid come in but leave the five lb purple bicep curl action in great neck. Then I showed them some hspus which of course were. Two abmats from full rom but they said it looked cooler than the yoga moves their wives tried to get them to do
So hopefully we will c some of them bc they all work in nyc good luck with annie. No ropes here so will makeup at home

Just thought Ewen and Rob would appreciate the somewhat awkward coverage of their weekend rowing pursuit. Looks like a hell of a lot of fun.

Today's work:
Burpee Sprint; 10 Burpees, Sprint 100m, 20 SU, Sprint 100m; 9 Burpees, Sprint 100m, 18SU. Repeat for full countdown. Exhausting to say the least.

Enough said, this is hilarious and ridiculous. I think mark Sisson said it appropriately, be prepared to laugh and cry!!

Greetings all! Its been a tough week at Officer Candidates School for this nasty candidate. I've been nursing a fever, sore throat, upper respiratory infection and some nasty breathing problems, but I managed to get through all the events without a problem. 6 mile hike, some real rigorous PT events, SULE I (a leadership problem-solving evaluation in the field when it was 20 degrees after the 6 mile hike), and finished off the week with some functional fitness (a lot like CrossFit) oohrah log PT!!!

However I was saddened to see another two hero workouts. Fair winds and following seas, CPO Hardy. And RIP Randy Simmons. I can't wait to get back to the Black Box and eat some Five Guys Famous following a Filthy 50!

S/F,

GS

Hari

Martin
Good work on FGB.
A2
Good work on the DL PR.
Brian D
Good work on the posting of the muscle-up instruction.
Erica
Good work on Annie. Impressive, although none of us were completely surprised.

Here's the unofficial Annie standings on the CF message boards.

Erica would be 3rd in these rankings.

I beat #31's time:
[31] 1 hr 20 mins 30 secs

Grrr, I broke my jumprope on the set of 10s. Preparing a nasty letter to Buddy Lee! Cost me at least 10 seconds and emotional distress.

Posted by: michelle at February 17, 2008 9:46 PM

The idea of Keith, plus broken jump rope, plus emotional distress gave me a chuckle for some reason.
