Hilarious post on Sonz Jupiter's site. It's not a joke - this thing exists.

We had a great time in Boston, and EC kicked some serious ass. With a few adjustments, both her and Robzilla will be sub 7:00 in no time.

Our own pics/flicks courtesy of Claire will be up asap.
And happy belated b-day to Coach P!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. As I was a little under the weather, every post cheered me up :). Way to go EC, Rob and Ewen!

Brett,
6:37 was worth 155th out of 252 in the Open Men category (that's not counting the many lightweights, juniors and old farts who beat me, of course).
You have to pull sub 6:15 to be in the top 50, and sub 6:25 to be in the top 100 (Open Men).
And for those of you that rate 8:00+... just know that there a few 80 year old men out there that can kick your butt. ;-)
Posted by: Ewen at February 25, 2008 11:20 AM
Happy Birthday Coach P! Hope you are feeling better soon!
Posted by: avery at February 25, 2008 11:58 AM
Good job, Crash-B competitors. Good to know that 80 year olds can kick my ass. Of course, the elderly can get in line behind everyone else who can do the same like invalids and small children, particularly those related to Michelle.
Apologies if this was already posted, but the Box got a link and a shout out on MDA for Feb 24. Looks like he is going to be discussing Crossfit more in the near future:

Heartfelt apologies, my dear anonymous. I didn't mean to offend anyone in particular.
That should have read: "...the many toothpicks, teenyboppers and old farts who beat me."

You're the man Jacinto. Besides we all knew that you really meant Keith and Josh anyway. :-)

Jacinto,
Don't be so hard on yourself. We old guys got to stick together.

I was trying to find some way to supplement for Eva. I came up with this with my limited resources and small apartment space. I think it's easier than Eva because of the partitioning, but it was fun nonetheless.

Definitely learned a lot about the movements, particularly the jerk. Not impressed with the weights and my lower back feels like it got overused. Have to work on form more.

115-120-125-130-125-130 (PR; a back-breaking, twisty, dog-faced, ugly PR)
130-135-145-155-2x160 (better than last time for this WOD)
2x145-5x135-5x140-3x145 (in a bit of a rush; pretty ugly at 145; need to understand the difference between "aggressive" and "flailing wildly")
