In her recent interview (Tuesday video), Eva was asked to name a workout she might like named after her, and she mentioned "Helen."
So, now there is "Eva," like “Helen” but with about three times the running, three times the kettlebell work, and four times the pull-ups.
OPT, with a 7-minute Helen, will probably need at least 30 minutes for this. I’m hoping to stay below one hour.
The good news is that Eva didn't suggest "Murph.” Had she done so, we might have ended up with:
Run 5K
300 Pull-ups
600 Pushups
900 Squats
Run 5K

Did a slightly modified Eva at South Brooklyn.

Brutal, but kind of awesome.

61:00 as R'xd... Could have had sub-60:00 but both my hands decided to give out for my last 10 pullups and now have 2 huge open wounds that made my last 6 pull-ups take over a minute. Great work everyone today, and Happy B-day Coach P!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Coach P. I hope you "Get some" in some shape or form on your birthday!
To everyone I saw suffer through "Eva" I think Hari's comment sums it up: Hari-"Is it me or is everything blurry." Wow

Happy Birthday Coach P!
Ewen/EC,
Thanks for going to the Crash-Bs. It was an awesome time and I PRed by another 8 seconds. Down to 7:04.
Claire,
Thanks for taking video and pictures. I can't wait to see how they came out.
Erica,
Be careful what you wish for. I'm sure that the coaches will come up with a workout with some punrific name like "All Right"
If I can't get to Eva this week then I'll have to wait for it to come up again. It looks pretty brutal, but fun.

Erica
There is plenty for you to do here. Please come in.
Maybe you can try to beat Jelli's 400 score. :)

Did this in about 58:37 or something.
1.5 pood sub.
Really felt great in the first 3 rounds but by the time of the 4th round pullups, my hands were the limiting factor. Grabbed the Jeffpads (not to be confused with Roca Pads - http://youtube.com/watch?v=I9dj6zUD_9w ) to try to reduce the damage/pain for the last round and that helped a little. May have to get a pair of my own or look into grips or something.
