Too bad nobody showed up for Olympic lifting class today.

As we have been having continuing problems with the people downstairs, we will NOT be doing heavy snatches in the lunchtime class. Wake up early or come late for heavy lifting. If you come to the lunch class we'll be doing lots of light work on form.
NB - The Elements Workshops begin tonight. If you are relatively new to CrossFit or just new to us, then you should be attending the Elements Workshops. If you come at 7pm you had better know the Burgener Warmup and be ready to snatch HEAVY. No excuses. If you can't snatch HEAVY, then why aren't you enrolled in the Elements Workshops?

You're not a nobody, Sarena. I didn't count you, because you already did 45 cleans in the WOD and then you did back squats which are not an Olympic Lift.

Hey I guess you didnt see the exclamation points after my post! I honestly didnt expect you to do a class for me alone thats why I chose to do the BS! No worries there. Its good for me to feel confident and try things on my own as well.

i did the dips on a bunch of military style bars set up for dips...
an hour later i found out theres this huge lil samoan kid that brought ring dips..
best part is hes never heard of crossfit...
so hopefully ill get to play with the rings
come next shower day.

105 lb squat 3x5
115 lb deadlift 3x5
50 red band pullups for time 10:30-ish
some kind of extention back and ab things that killed
i was the only one to show for lunchtime class. guess that means i'm the only one that wants to work on form. thanx for the class keith.

made up elizabeth today. time: 22min. not great, but it's the first time i've been able to complete her as rx'd. something about doing squat cleans at that volume really makes my lower back sing.
then i did snatches:
95-115-125(f)-115-120-125-130-135(PR w00t!)
and finished with muscle-ups, 4x5. good times!

nice job marisela. keith made me do that 50 pullup thing using the thin black band. i took me way longer than ur time. i thought i was going to be there till the lunchtime class. and my private started at 10. :0
