I look crazed! Ron and Keith were naturals.

We should have more field trips.

If anyone is interested in kickball and dodgeball let me know. I know where we can play in big games in williamsburg on Sundays in the Summer.

I was just thinking about that.
maybe a bunch of group outings, to the beach
or mountain climbing,or skydiving, maybe a bunch of rooftop WOD/BBQS this summer.
(that would be an interesting crossfit space, a building rooftop, somewhere. )

also there is an event coming up in Sept. the Men'Health urbanathlon.
i was interested in getting a group of us to participate if theres interest 'team crossfitnyc'
maybe get some press in the magazine

Great photos!
BBQ sounds good, as does Sunday kickball or any other group outing.

In regards to this morning's workout, it turns out I'm quite terrible at doing knees-to-elbows...

So whats today's work out?

Posted by: alex at May 7, 2007 10:20 AM

Hey Alex,
This morning it was 3 rounds for time:
10 Turkish Getups
20 Knees-to-Elbows
30 Box Jumps

I'm not sure if the later classes will be doing the same though...

Slow lunch so was reading about sports, including this article on "Wiffle hurling" - http://www.wired.com/gaming/virtualworlds/commentary/games/2007/05/gamesfrontiers_0507

This got me thinking of a couple of things at the same time. 1) Where can I get a wiffle ball bat 'cause that looks like fun. And 2) Recalling the last line in the CF's 100 Words - "Regularly learn and play new sports", I was wondering if there have been any new sports or games created for (or existing sports modified by) the CrossFit space. Not just WOD routines, but complete games that require the full body fitness approach that CrossFit employs.
