Court is the Man!

I want to thank the one and only Court Wing on behalf of the entire CFNYC community for all the work he did yesterday to pull off the Steve Cotter Kettlebell seminar without a hitch. I think it's safe to say that it exceeded all of our expectations. Let this be the first of many amazing seminars!
And now, today's WOD:
070521
Four rounds for time of:
5 Muscle-ups
50 Squats
Post time to comments.

Yes Cort, nice work! It was very enlightening to see the differences between what was taught last night, and what some other practioners, both CF and RKC, have taught. I'm glad I went.

11:10, subbing jumping muscle ups 2 to 1. very happy with my time.
FYI, the subs for this workout are as follows:
instead of:
5 muscle ups
do:
10 jumping muscle ups (2 to 1 ratio) or
20 pull ups and 20 dips (4 to 1) or
40 jumping pull ups and 40 jumping dips (8 to 1)
Jumping MU's are definitely the way to go on this workout (unless you're Dammit or Josh and actually HAVE a muscle up).
By the way, I'll be covering the evening classes tonight so that our man Court can go to Steve's qigong seminar.

Oh my god, what happened to Adam's left hand?
Posted by: Jeff at May 21, 2007 6:51 PM
Why the heck didn't my posts show up??
my goal was 10 jumping MUs
managed 7 or 8 pretty good ones each round. couldn't lock my arms out the last 2 or 3 so I did a few extra each time.
Great music for the squats.
14:38?
I want to see the pictures and videos from the seminar!

A2, Dammit, Hari, Moon--thank you so much! I had a blast last night teaching the two classes, and I'm happy that you all felt I was up to the task. After 3 months of great teaching from Keith, Court, Mike and Josh, I've set the bar pretty high for myself in what I want to be able to provide as a CrossFit instructor. I still have so much to learn; thank you for your support and inspiration.
Michelle, I should be around this evening to assist the 6pm class.
